Rochester’s award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre returns to Fringe for its fifth year with an amazing evening of works culled from 16 years of intense athleticism, gravity-defying acrobatics, and soulful artistry. Plus: the world premiere of “0’s and 1’s” – PUSH’s take on US vs. THEM – has the company wearing portable video projectors and flashlights. As truTV’s FAKE OFF judge/GLEE star Harry Shum, Jr. said to these masters of physical storytelling (Season One finalists): “You guys are superhuman!”

LOCATION: RAPA at School of the Arts: Allen Main Stage Theatre.

In this introductory, fun workshop, students can challenge themselves at their own pace. Whether you’re an actor, dancer, athlete or artist, a complete beginner or a professional, PUSH’s system of training puts you in control of your body. First, learn about posture, breath, and how to isolate each body part and move it independently. Then, try lifting, climbing, throwing and experimenting together safely using basic PUSH techniques that include “listening” with your body.

LOCATION: RAPA at School of the Arts: Dance and Movement Center.
